Fortify on Demand is a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution that enables your organization to easily and quickly build and expand a Software Security Assurance program. The Fortify on Demand Jenkins Plugin enables users to upload code directly from Jenkins for Static Application Security Testing (SAST). This plugin features the following tasks:
- Run a static assessment for each build triggered by Jenkins.
- Poll for scan status and scan results.
- Learn about the electrical system with the convenience of Fortify. Wiring with the upgrade includes some helpful features: - color wires to help make sense of a complicated circuit - see power amount over each wire - disconnect wire ends without having to delete the wire and start over - while placing wires, press backspace to remove the last bend.
- The FPR and log files can be published as build artifacts. To review the scan results, download this artifact and open it in either Fortify Audit Workbench (AWB) or Fortify Software Security Center. You can also configure the task to upload the FPR to an existing Fortify Software Security Center server for enterprise vulnerability management.
- Fortify is a locally installed application that listens on a known TCP port. Web applications use the Fortify WebCrypto polyfill to communicate with this application which enables the web application to use smart cards, security tokens and locally installed certificates.

Additional Considerations For Maven Users
For the most complete assessment of your application it is important to ensure all dependencies for deployment are satisfied. Maven provides a simple means of outputting these libraries by the maven-dependency-plugin. The section <excludeGroupIds> may be used to ensure test framework code, for example, is not included.
