The gameplay mechanics feel pretty fluid, and it controls nicely. Also, the character customization in the game is pretty unique, and so is the way you level up the skills. Probably the best way you could describe this game is: it offers the freedom and liberty of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, the action style of Diablo 3, the ambient and world-building of the first Diablo, and the visuals of the latest Crysis.

Graphics and Visuals: The game looks incredible, astonishing, and beautiful. It is quite possibly the best-looking ARPG in the market right now. The effects and scenery look incredible, and so do the animations. The attacks, spells, and special moves will affect the scenery, there is plenty of interactive element s in the scenery and map.
Gameplay: There are no classes and no categories, which makes this game pretty unique. Instead, your character will evolve with a skill tree just like the one you use in Skyrim. Its hack and slash mechanics are great, as they make the game much more fluid and fun. It also offers the possibility to get hooked in the game for hours and hours without getting bored. There's tons of action and exploration, and it all controls nicely.
Soundtrack: Probably the biggest challenge when making this type of game is that the players will be playing it for many hours, so the soundtrack has to be able to loop without being annoying. And it does so nice and smooth. The soundtrack isn't as epic as Skyrim's of course, but it's still an excellent soundtrack. The sound effects in the game are great too, as they complete the atmosphere of the game and make it much more surrounding.

Wolcen pitches you into the battle as one of the Children of Hemlock tasked with defeating the Brotherhood of Dawn. It will launch you into brutal combat as you carve your way through the enemy to level up in this classless RPG.

Lord of Mayhem delivers as a role-playing game. While reminiscent of Diablo and Path of Exile, it improves on them by taking the graphics to another level. Wolcen has a well-developed combat system which synchronizes well with the gritty atmosphere.

The game has a great storyline taking you into the depths of the world, and as long as you stay on the single-player, it is good. Multiplayer, unfortunately suffers from some of the worst bugs that plague the system.

Unfortunately, the whole game is plagued by malfunctions. Fortunately, the studio has been making rapid improvements to the game. What still is a problem is the in-game economics. As the updates have come, it has constantly revamped the way goods are collected. Also, crafting items is quite rare in the game compared to PoE.

Overall, Wolcen has its strengths and weaknesses. While it does many things that are innovative and fun with battle mechanics, graphics, and storytelling, it has some major downsides. The bugs and economics could use some work, but the updates are consistent so that will hopefully change.
